This course is designed to prepare candidates for chaplaincy ministry in various contexts, including community service, institutional settings, first responders, and crises. The course is based on the official training manual, which is intended to educate, train, certify, and equip chaplains for practical and professional ministry service. Participants will study: foundations of chaplaincy; crisis and trauma ministry; ethics and integrity in ministry; pastoral communication; grief counseling and death notification; disaster response; suicide intervention, and leadership and professionalism in chaplaincy
